Greetings from the Davis Library! We’re so happy to see so many returning and new (masked) faces on campus.

We want to remind everyone that all campus social distancing rules apply to the library. We’re trying to make everything as safe as possible for the 2020-2021 Academic Year in the “Age of COVID.”

Below are just a few key issues to note when using Davis Library this term:

  • Please wear facial coverings when visiting the Davis Library. If you don’t have a mask, visit the Circulation Desk. We can provide one for you.
  • Sign-In & Out is required for Computer Lab Workstation use to ensure that proper cleaning and disinfecting between users is taking place.
  • Our building’s occupancy is at 50%. If more study space is needed, please let us know. We can open our classrooms on the 2nd Floor for added seating, but do remember that all campus classroom social distancing rules still apply in these areas as well.
  • Borrowing items from OhioLINK may take a little longer (up to 2-weeks) due to quarantining practices. Please plan ahead when making online requests for items from other participating libraries.

We know all these safety measures take extra time and effort, but your health and well-being are important to us. We’re happy you’re here and are looking forward to a great year despite a few inconveniences. A little patience goes a long way—spread kindness, not germs!
